Asanga: You Are Never Not Free is a mysterious and metaphorical story, exploring the deepest personal and philosophical questions of freedom and identity. Through reflective storytelling, the author delves into life's entanglements—from childhood attachments to possessions, to relationships, beliefs, and the self itself. Engaging with themes of karma, free will, and the play of Maya, the book challenges how we mistake deceptions for reality and remain bound, even when no true bonds exist. At its heart, Asaṅga reveals that freedom is not something to be attained but recognized. With Maya as a constant companion, this narrative invites readers to confront their own illusions and rediscover the liberating truth: you were never bound, and you are never not free.
