Ramana Maharshi spoke of 'Sharanagati', that he recommends every bhakta must adopt this attitude: “There is no means of safety for me except throwing myself at your feet, O Lord.” Sharanagati is to seek God as the ultimate means for liberation. You witness your own strength, your own faith that lives through without any resistance. That carefree and blissful life is what leads to liberation. That is ultimate surrender. From whom you seek "sharan" you become one with Him.
