The Word Made Flesh is the story of God reaching a people who had forgotten His face - the long patience of love, sustained across distance, from the garden through covenants and prophets to the Son sent all the way into our flesh. For anyone who has ever approached God braced for His disappointment, this is the face we were made to see.
The Translation Theory is a scientific theory of how meaning crosses between systems without being lost in transit. It builds its case through acoustics, information theory, biology, mathematics, and the everyday failures of human communication. It names the four operations that imitate translation without performing it, and identifies what every honest crossing requires.
The Translator holds the two side by side. Twelve correspondences, vocabulary in parallel, demonstrating that what Scripture has enacted for thousands of years and what the science describes are not similar - they are the same. A reader fluent in only one side can enter the other through this bridge.
The science now suggests; Scripture has always said. Reality runs on translation. The Logos - through whom all things came into being - is the meeting point this book is named for.
