Dr hab. inż. Grzegorz Pasternak is an Associate Professor at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland, leading the Laboratory of Microbial Electrochemical Systems (L-MES). His research focuses on microbial fuel cells, electrofermentation, and biosensors, aiming to develop sustainable technologies for waste-to-energy conversion and environmental monitoring. In recent years, his group has been developing bioelectrochemically stimulated synthesis of biosurfactants and the degradation of waste cooking oil and petroleum. His work has been supported by approximately 1.5 million in funding, including support from NCN, NAWA, and international sources.
