Hochsensitivität ist ein relativ junges Forschungsfeld innerhalb der Psychologie, bei dem noch viele Fragen offen sind. Der vorliegende Forschungsbericht thematisiert zentrale Fragen hinsichtlich des Konstruktes und bietet einen vertieften Zugang zum Phänomen Hochsensitivität. Anhand einer Befragung hochsensitiver Menschen, die im Internet durchgeführt wurde, ist der Zusammenhang von Hochsensitivität und Persönlichkeitseigenschaften abgefragt worden. Die Fragen konzentrierten sich dabei um das Gegensatzpaar Sensing vs. Intuition im Sinne des MBTI. Es konnte nach einer ersten Auswertung der Ergebnisse gezeigt werden, dass Sensory-Processing Sensitivity (SPS) hoch mit N im Sinne des MBTI korreliert und viele Hinweise dafür sprechen, dass SPS mit intuitiver Wahrnehmung (N) identisch ist.
