Ces derni�res ann�es, un nouveau mat�riau appel� graph�ne est apparu dans le domaine des nanomat�riaux avanc�s et fait l'objet d'une �tude approfondie de la part des scientifiques et des ing�nieurs. Le graph�ne est un allotrope bidimensionnel (2D) du carbone, dans lequel les atomes de carbone hybrid�s sp sont li�s de mani�re covalente dans un r�seau hexagonal pour former une feuille atomique unique. On sait aujourd'hui que le graph�ne est l'�l�ment de base d'autres allotropes du carbone, tels que le graphite, les nanotubes de carbone monoparois/multiparois et les fuller�nes. Au cours des cinq derni�res ann�es, le graph�ne modifi� chimiquement (CMG) a �t� �tudi� pour une large gamme d'applications, notamment les composites polym�res, les mat�riaux �nerg�tiques, les capteurs, les mat�riaux semblables au papier, les transistors � effet de champ (FET) et les utilisations biom�dicales, gr�ce � ses excellentes propri�t�s �lectriques, m�caniques et thermiques. La modification chimique de l'oxyde de graph�ne, d�riv� de l'oxyde de graphite, est devenue une m�thode prometteuse pour la production � grande �chelle de plaquettes de CMG.
