Methoden zur Trennung von Gasgemischen mit MolekUlsorten die sehr kleine Massenunterschiede haben (Isotope), haben in den letzten Jahren im Zusammenhang mit der Energiewandlung zunehmend an Interesse gewonnen. Es handelt sich dabei urn Verfahren, die - abweichend von dem klassischen Gasdiffu- sionstrennverfahren - aerodynamische Stromungsprozesse fUr die Trennung ausnutzen 1441. Einige dieser Verfahren, wie beispielsweise die TrenndUse 1451, haben bereits einen der- art hohen Stand der Entwicklung erreicht, daB sie technisch einsatzbereit sind. Andere Verfahren, wie etwa die gegenein- ander gerichteten Freistrahlen 1461, das Trennrohr 1471, das Wirbelrohr 1481, sowie die Trennung des in einen Freistrahl eindringenden Hintergrundgasgemisches (Jet-Membrane-Verf. ) 139,401, die gekreuzten Molekularstrahlen 1491 und der auf Geschwindigkeitsschlupf basierende ProzeB der Trennung 1501, stecken noch in den Anfangen der Entwicklung; weder ihre Optimierung noch eine Abschatzung ihrer Brauchbarkeit ist moglich, da zahlreiche Phanomene in komplexen Stromungen die- ser Art noch nicht genUgend verstanden werden.
