"Blessed Beyond Words" is an inspirational book which is a compilation of true stories that reinforce "Nothing is Left to Coincidence." The book is an easy read. enjoyable. inspirational and a page turner. Filled with anecdotes as well as excerpts including poems and letters, "Blessed Beyond Words" gives you the inspiration to understand that as long as we put our best foot forward day in and day out, everything in our lives seems to work out. Those who read this book will feel really good about their lives and will walk away with an uplifting feeling that they too are blessed beyond words. The interesting aspect of the book is it is not so much a self help book or a spiritual book. it is a book which shares stories that go far beyond logical explanation. "Blessed Beyond Words" also emphasizes that we need to let go of controlling the outcome of our days and just let our days unfold into whatever it is life has in store for us. One of Susan's favorite expressions in the book is "Enjoy the moment, for the moment is ALL we have." Many stories included in the book emphasize that life is all about timing and when your 'gut' instincts tell you to go right instead of left. go right. The more times you go right. the more life unfolds into a life full of blessings and small miracles. At the very least, one needs to believe in the presence of a higher being in order to enjoy this book With faith. anything is possible. We all possess god given gifts or talents. It is up to us to utilize these gifts or talents to the best of our ability. Interestingly enough, when each one of us utilizes our talents, we affect many people in our lives. It's almost like a domino effect. The more we do for others, the more God seems to reward us with each good deed. Susan's book emphasizes the fact that we are all blessed and have talents which we must utilize in this lifetime. This is no dress rehearsal. It is almost sinful not to acknowledge and build upon the talents that we posses, for if we choose to ignore them, not only we, but others will be missing a world of opportunity. This book emphasizes the importance of following our instincts. Our instincts lead us to endless opportunities in our lives. Part of the book emphasizes the importance of relationships and that in every relationship, one needs to understand that no one is perfect and that when we actually decide to spend the rest of our lives with a significant other, we should not look at it as a project in which we hope to 'change' an individual or hope that the individual will change. This for the most part doesn't happen. We must enter a solid relationship accepting our significant other exactly the way they are. While life brings us so many trials and tribulations, we learn to endure whatever it is we are given because of our faith. Everything works out the way it should and not necessarily the way we want it to. Susan has already started writing the sequel to "Blessed Beyond Words" and one of the stories included talks about a woman who was diagnosed with an advanced stage of cancer and was given two weeks to live. The doctor advised the woman to go home and get her business in order and to try to stay as comfortable as possible. Well, low and behold, that evening when she returned home from a day that literally turned her world upside down, in that day's newspaper was an article that included a new 'test' treatment for her type of cancer. . not only was she included as a non placebo experimental patient but one year later she is symptom- free. How do things like this happen? They just do and we have to go with the flow. and not try to figure it out. But enjoy that moment for what is . a small miracle! I was speaking to the producer at Cablevision, Public Access TV, and we were talking about how people have a choice. They can either live in the positive zone or in the negative zone.
