The weight room became my ministry. Felder, Gus Bigdawg: - After a brief stint in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns, Gus transitioned into coaching and leadership development, taking on roles in high schools, HBCUs, major NCAA programs, and the NFL, including the University of Georgia, Clark Atlanta University, the University of Miami, and the Carolina Panthers. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Player Development at the University of Nebraska.Gus "BigDawg" Felder is a husband, father, mentor, coach, and leader with a mission rooted in faith, perseverance, and purpose. Born and raised in the Strawberry Mansion section of North Philadelphia, Gus transformed from a high school dropout into a college graduate, earning several degrees from Penn State University, where he also played as a key member on the offensive line under legendary coach Joe Paterno.
