With time, reactions that once felt automatic become optional. Third is the skilful gardener: as reactivity softens, you align your choices with what matters, meet challenges with less anxiety, and build a life you don't need to escape from.

This is not a book about perfection, optimisation, or endless self-improvement. It is about seeing and tending the patterns that shape you, so life becomes clearer, lighter, and far less unnecessarily difficult.
