The latest contribution to career readiness by Mike Williams Solutions is its workbook, Working the Road to Your Best Stuff 2.0. The workbook is designed to help guide the reader's choices, readiness, and progress in their careers, regardless of the field.
The focus is on each person's stuff--the unique set of talents, skills, ideas, and passion-- and how to maximize them in the workplace/marketplace. It helps each person find the right connection between what they have to offer and where it best fits.
The workbook is a companion to the book, The Road to Your Best Stuff 2.0, the latest MWS take on career choice and achievement. The workbook is a hands-on tool to choose, plan, pursue, and stay on track in their future career, business or cause.Working the Road to Your Best Stuff, 2.0 is a 56-page document with fill-able spaces and key questions in each chapter. The workbook follows the outline of the book, but the BOOK IS NOT NEEDED to get value from the workbook. It can be helpful but not needed.
The workbook is designed to connect with all career levels, including pre-career and early career, mid-career, and late-career challenges into retirement. One added value of the workbook is that it can be updated in the short term and longer term.
Working the Road to Your Best Stuff 2.0 is a hands-on guide to getting from the present into the future. It is designed to support good decisions, with insights into future opportunities so the reader can take full advantage.
Mike Williams has used five decades of experience to guide individuals, companies and organizations to grow and succeed, according to their unique vision. After working in media, marketing, and career development, Mike founded his company in 1981. (Mike is a strategist with a broad, unique reach.) In fall, 2025 Mike published his latest work, a workbook, Working the Road to Your Best Stuff2.0, a companion and offshoot of his earlier work, The Road to Your Best Stuff 2.0, outlining his unique approach to achievement. The workbook guides readers/achievers through a hands-on process of choosing, entering and rising in their future careers. Over the years, Mike and his company have developed unique processes to carefully assess, strategize and deliver for a variety of clients and situations. Clients have included business owners, public and non-profit leaders, public speakers, medical professionals, and freelancers, always helping to expand and break new ground. Mike is best known for his work with motivational speaker Les Brown. Les attributes his success to Mike's role as the "mentor" and strategist who helped him launch and grow his speaking business to international prominence, reaching its first million-dollar-year in 5 years. Mike continues today as Les' big-picture strategist. In recent years, Mike's coaching, which began in the 80s, has taken on a greater role, with clients throughout the US and internationally. The coaching role takes the focus from organizations to key individuals, either within organizations, or freelancing in ventures and projects of many kinds. Mike Williams brings his experience and insights, grounded in media, marketing, career development, and organizational capacity to each situation. Mike and his team use their know-how to guide clients through their challenges and opportunities, helping them grow. The MWS goal: facilitating achievement, micro to macro levels.
