Berkel, Christian: - Christian Berkel nació en Berlín, Alemania, en 1958, y es uno de los actores alemanes más conocidos internacionalmente. Desde los 14 años vivió en París, donde tomó lecciones de teatro con Jean- Louis Barrault y Pierre Berlin. Luego se formó en la Academia de Cine y Televisión Alemana en Berlín y actuó en escenarios en Augsburgo, Düsseldorf, Múnich, Viena y en el Teatro Schiller de Berlín. Ha aparecido en muchas producciones televisivas y películas europeas, como El hundimiento o El libro negro, y en filmes estadounidenses de gran presupuesto como Trumbo, Operación U.N.C.L.E., Valkiria y la película de Quentin Tarantino Malditos bastardos. Su primera novela, El manzano, basada en la fascinante historia real de su familia, se ha convertido en uno de los mayores best sellers en lengua alemana de los últimos tiempos, con más de 350.000 ejemplares vendidos en su país, y ha sido traducida a otros diez idiomas.
