Presently there are some educational issues in emerging India which need to be conceptualized. Among these, Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), Equalization of Educational Opportunities, Inclusive Education, Women’s Empowerment, Education for Social Change and Culture, Open and Distance Learning, Education for Peace and Values, Education for Socialization, Education under the ambit of Globalization and Privatization, and Intercommunications between Equity, Equality, Quality and Teaching-Learning in Higher Education are the emerging issues in India. The edited volume, Education in Emerging India presents an analysis of such contemporary issues in the landscape of Indian education through informative and inculcating articles by scholarly contributors.
