An international expert on the subject of human trafficking, he is founder of RACE (Research, Advocacy and Capacity Building against Exploitation) Lab, India’s first anti-human trafficking lab. Additionally, he is a recipient of the Hubert Humphrey and Kalinga Fellowships, and has authored several other books on human trafficking, including Combating Human Trafficking: Identifying Gaps in Policy and Law (2015) and Community Policing: A Misnomer or Reality (2011).
