About The Author

Dr Mohammad Yasin received his education from the universities of Allahabad and Lucknow. He remained closely associated with his alma mater from 1950 to 1961, playing a pivotal role in establishing the postgraduate Department of History at Jammu (1963–1965) and later at Srinagar. A distinguished scholar in Indo-Islamic history, Dr Yasin authored eight books and was proficient in both Urdu and English, making significant contributions to scholarship in both languages.
