Dr. Ram Nath Sharma, M.A., D. Phil. (Alld.), D.Litt. (Meerut), has been teaching post-graduate students and guiding research at Agra and Meerut Universities for more than three decades. At present he is Reader and Head of the Dept. of Post-graduate Studies and Research at Meerut College. He was elected Sectional President at Eleventh Session of All India Darshan Parishad. He is President of U.P. Parishad since 1984, Chief Editor of Research Journal of Philosophy and Social Sciences and Director, Shri Aurobindo Research Institute. Dr. Sharma is a prolific writer and an authority on Sri Aurobindo’s Thought. He is author of more than a hundred books and an equal number of research papers in the field of Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology and Education. More than two dozen scholars from India and abroad have received their Ph.D. degree under his able supervision.
