The present book provides a critical analysis of all the novels and short stories of Ernest Hemingway, a twentieth century American novelist who got Nobel Prize for Literature. Ishteyaque Shams teaches English in R.L.S.Y. College, Bettiah, a constituent unit of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University. He has had a distinguished academic career. He did his M.A. in English securing first position in first class and Ph.D. from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. He also holds P.G. degrees in Hindi, Urdu, History and Political Science and B.Ed. and LL.B. and Diploma in French and Russian Languages and PGDTE (Hybd.). Dr. Shams’ articles have appeared in various journals and anthologies and he has got the honour of presenting his critical papers in two International Conferences besides many National Seminars. He is associated with several Literary forums and he was awarded Teacher Study Grants from Indo-American Centre for International Studies, Hyderabad twice. He is also engaged in supervising two Research works on Arun Joshi and Saul Bellow.
