Developed as part of Show in a Bag, an artist development initiative of Dublin Fringe Festival; Fishamble: The New Play Company; and Irish Theatre Institute to resource theatre makers and actors. The plays were then produced by Fishamble, touring throughout Ireland, the UK, USA and Europe.
Kelly, Sonya: - Sonya Kelly is an Irish writer and actor. She has performed with all the major Irish companies including the Gate Theatre, Druid Theatre and The Corn Exchange and Fishamble: the new play company. She is a cast member of RTE's hugely successful, sketch show, The Savage Eye. Her debut solo show, The Wheelchair on My Face: a look back at a myopic childhood, won a Scotsman Fringe First Award for new writing at the Edinburgh Fringe 2012. The show played 150 performances in over 50 venues and toured to Paris and New York where it received a Critic's Pick in the New York Times.
McAuliffe, Margaret: - Margaret McAuliffe is an actress and playwright. She graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting in 2010. Since then she has worked in many productions including Digging for Fire (2013) and Jezebel (2014). In 2015 she toured around Ireland and England with the highly successful My English Tongue, My Irish Heart. In 2016 she wrote and produced her own show The Humours of Bandon which enjoyed rave reviews, a sellout run in Bewley's Café Theatre and earned her the Bewley's Little Gem Award for Tiger Dublin Fringe 2016.
Stapleton, Noni: - Noni Stapleton is an Irish actress, voiceover artist and playwright. She graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting in 2002, beginning her theatre career in What The Dead Want (directed by Jimmy Fay) at Project Arts Centre, Dublin. She has continued to work in theatre, TV and film as an actress and writer and has also performed in many Irish-language productions. Noni co-founded Skipalong Theatre Company for which she co-wrote One for Sorrow and Two for a Girl.
