I always thought Mondays were the worst. You tell yourself get through the day, by Tuesday you'll be back on the wagon . . . But sometimes, by the time Tuesday comes, if you're still just the same, still drinking, self-loathing . . . you know the rest of the week is a write-off.

Edward still lives in his marital home, albeit alone, estranged from his wife and child. When a chance encounter with an old school friend results in an invitation to a house warming, it sets him on a self-revelatory journey, with interesting results.

Written by Alfred Fagon Award-winning playwright Michael Bhim, Tuesday is a dark and tense comedy of self-discovery. It was first performed at the White Bear theatre in Kennington, London, on 18 October 2016.

Michael Bhim is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. His first play, Distant Violence, produced at the Tricycle Theatre, was nominated for the Meyer Whitworth Award. He is also winner of the Alfred Fagon Award. He has had productions at the Soho Theatre, Royal Court Theatre, and Almeida Theatre, and has worked internationally with the National Theatre Studio in Europe and in the Caribbean, and in Africa with various arts organisations. As well as writing for the stage, Michael was writer in residence at BBC Radio where his radio play Look Closer was produced. His short film Above, which he also co-directed, premiered at the London Film Festival 2015. When not writing Michael also guest lectures in writing, and works extensively with inmates at Brixton prison, with a keen interest in focusing on marginalized voices
