He serves as the Medical Director and Chief Scientific Officer for CVPath Institute where he oversees device development research and runs a molecular lab with focus on the molecular understanding of vascular wall injury and healing, genetics of sudden cardiac death and molecular basis of coronary artery disease. When not running CVPath, he performs interventional cardiology procedures at University of Maryland.
