Dr Jogindra Vati, Professor cum Principal at SGHS College of Nursing, Mohali, Punjab, India, did her M.Sc. Nursing in 1985 and PhD in nursing (under faculty of medical sciences) in 1992 from College of Nursing, National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE), PGIMER Chandigarh, India. She also has an MA in Public Administration from Punjab University, Chandigarh, India. She has more than 30 years of teaching experience at NINE, PGIMER, Chandigarh, Indira Gandhi Open University of Health Sciences, New Delhi, and SGHS College of Nursing, Mohali, Punjab. She has to her credit many awards and honours such as University Gold Medal, Basanti Rai Award for best thesis, and Meritorious Service Award.
