He has held academic assignments with the United Nations University Japan; the Wageningen University, The Netherlands, and the University of Bonn, Germany. He was an Obama - Singh Scholar in Residence at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, USA. He has also taught at St. Petersburg University in Russia.
