About The Book

The present book God Made the Man and the Man Made the Gods is an attempt to prove that it is God who created the universe and entered into the universe (Taitriya Upnishad, Brahmanandvalli, chapter 6 and couplet 1). God and the universe became one and the same. Now it is the universe, which is controlling the fate of the man through the seven planets and 27 constellations (Astrology). The book also attempts to prove scientifically that the man was not born from the monkey and the chimpanzee as stated by Darwin in his book The Origin of Species, but God created the organisms of all species including the man. Those species came into existence to which the environments suited and the others remained in a sleeping state. When the environment did not suit some species they became extinct and the new ones in dormant state were born. Thus, the cycle of life and death of species goes on. The book also attempts to prove that the fate of the man depends upon his deeds and he gets the reward or punishment depending upon his good or bad deeds. The rewards or punishments, which he does not get in this life, are carried forward to the next birth which become his fate. It is not necessary that the man may get punishment immediately for his bad deeds. He may not get it till his pot is full. No amount of worshipping of God or the planets is going to help except that the man may learn a lesson to do good deeds in future. How the accounts of the deeds are maintained or how the punishment is carried over is a mystery, but there is no escape from it. It is hoped that the readers will find this book interesting and informative.

About The Author

J.P. Mittal is a retired Joint Director from Indian Defence Estates Service. He has compiled two volumes of the Cantonment Laws from 1800 AD onwards till date which are being used as a reference book in the military and by the advocates and the judges of all courts. His “Discovery of Lanka of Ravana in Orissa” has been published in archaeological magazine Panchtantra. He has compiled the History of Ancient India from Brahma (7300 BC) to Harshvardhan (637 AD) beginning from Vedic Yuga to Kaliyuga chronologically without any gap, along with 150 Questions and Answers to clarify the misgivings, exaggerations and miracles.
