Sato is currently a visiting fellow at the University of Edinburgh, where she contributes to projects on cross-cultural mental health. Known for her blend of academic rigor and approachable writing, she has been featured in international media on the science of contentment. Sato divides her time between Tokyo and Edinburgh, where she continues to teach, write, and consult on happiness research.
