Ahmad, Jasim: - Jasim Ahmad is Associate Professor at the IASE, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Previously, he has served at the Department of Teacher Education, Shibli National PG College Azamgarh, affiliated to Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU), Jaunpur (2001-2004). Dr Ahmad has a teaching experience of more than 18 years, and his areas of interest include science education, educational psychology, research methodology and teacher education. He has published six books, namely Teaching of Biological Sciences (2009, 2nd ed. 2011), Computer Applications in Education (2012), Educational Measurement and Evaluation (2011), Personality Pattern and Job Satisfaction: A Study on School Teachers (2013), Action Research, Case Study and Achievement Test in Urdu (2015) and Understanding the Self (edited vol., 2017). In addition, he has published around 50 research papers in national and international journals, and presented a number of papers at conferences and seminars. He has contributed to the university administration in many capacities such as elected member of the Academic Council of JMI (2015-2018), Deputy Director of Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Nodal Officer-Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Senior Warden, Warden, Member of the Proctorial Team, Flying Squad Team, Assistant Superintendent of Exams, CoordinatorCurriculum Revision Committee of 2-Year BEd Programme, etc. He has been associated with the monitoring of RMSA, and SSA and Mid-Day Meal (MHRD, GOI Projects) in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, respectively. He is also associated with a UNFPA funded project on the Development of Adolescents Education Curriculum for the students of Bihar Madrasa Education Board as Co-PI. Dr Ahmad has substantial collaborations with various institutions such as NCERT, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), DIETs, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), University Grants Commission (UGC), Indraprastha (IP) University, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Integral University Lucknow (IUL) and VBSPU
