We- stinghouse Co, USA; KWU, BRD und Atomenergo, SU. In dieser Zeit konnte ich so viele Grundlagen und Erfahrunqen saml!'eln, daB es 1I'.ir moqlich wur- de, das vorlieqende Buch zu verfassen. Erfahrungsberichte und MeBerqebnisse von Erdbeben legte ich zu Grunde bei der Erarbeitung von systematisch qeordneten Berechnungsmeth03en, gUltig fUr aIle Kranbauarten sowie Grundkomponenten des Anlagenbaues. Bisher such ten Konstrukteure in der Literatur nach diesen Unterlagen vergebens. Mein Vorgehen war wohl mit groBen Approximationen verbunden. DafUr gelang es aber andererseits, eine methodische Normberechnungswei- se fUr die praktische Anwendung in der Konstruktion zu erstellen. So erstand letztlich eine Systemtheorie des ganzen Bereiches, die eine ein- fache Darstellung der Grundlagen im wesentlichen weit hinter sich laBt. FUr die finanzielle UnterstUtzunq meiner umfangreich"en Arbeiten sei der Slowenischen Forschungsqemeinschaft, Ljubljana, Juqoslawien, mein Dank ausgesprochen. Ferner gilt er auch Herrn Dr. mont.
