So soIl es auch weniger ge- schulten Kraften moglich sein, sich innerhalb kurzer Frist einzuarbeiten und einwandfreie Analysenergebnisse zu erzielen. Bei dem heutigen Fach- arbeitermangel ist dies von besonderer Wichtigkeit. Die weitere Abweichung von den bisher erschienenen Buchern be- steht darin, daB nur der Arbeitsgang geschildert wird, wie er tatsachlich zur Zeit im Laboratorium des Verfassers ausgefiihrt wird. Damit soIl nicht behauptet werden, daB die anderen Verfahren ungenaue Ergebnisse liefern. Es ist vielmehr versucht worden, von der Vielzahl der moglichen Untersuchungsgange die einfachsten und in allen Fallen brauchbarsten herauszulosen. Das Werk gliedert sich in vier Teile: 1. Stahl und Eisen einschlieBlich Ferrolegierungen. 2. Metalle und Legierungen. 3. Betriebsstoffe, insbesondere Brennstoffe, Schlacken, Zuschlage und feuerfeste Baustoffe, ausschlieBlich Olprfrfungen. Letztere sind genormt und eingehend in den "Richtlinien fUr den Einkauf und die Prfrfung von Schmiermitteln" beschrie ben. 4. Losungen: Bereitung und Titerstellung der Losungen zur MaBanalyse, Herstellung samtlicher flir die Analysen notwendigen Reagenzien- 16sungen. GrundsatzHch wurden Bestimmungen, welche nur selten vorkommen, wie z. B. die des Sauerstoffgehalts, sowie auBergewohnlicher Legierungs- bestandteile nicht aufgenommen.
