Das Interesse fur die operativen Mog1ichkeiten des Dermatologen ist in den letzten Jahren in zunehmendem MaBe gestiegen. Es war deshalb naheliegend, wichtige dermatochirurgische Behandlungsverfahren in Form eines Sympo- siums zu erarbeiten, urn einen Uberblick tiber das derzeit Mog1iche zu erhalten. In der Themenwahl wurde bewuSt eine schwerpunktmaSige Auswahl getroffen, die sich an der Aktualitat und der Bedeutung der einzelnen Methoden fUr Klinik und Praxis orientiert. Bei der operativen Therapie von Hauttumoren wurde Wert darauf gelegt, auch andere Fachdisziplinen zu Wort kommen zu lassen; denn gerade in diesem Bereich ist eine inter- disziplinare Zusammenarbeit fUr den Patienten oft von entscheidender und schicks- hafter Bedeutung. 1m vorliegenden Band sind die Vortrage des I. Symposiums ftir Dermatochirurgie nieder- gelegt urn allen interessierten Kollegen eine jederzeit verfugbare Informationsquelle in die Hand zu geben. In diesem Zusammenhang danken wir den Autoren fur die Mitarbeit am Symposium und fUr die Erstellung der Manuskripte. Dem Springer-Verlag, Fraulein A. Hufnagl und Herrn H.
