Dabei spielt die iibersichtliche Anfiihrung der heute zur Verfiigung stehenden Salben- grundlagen und der Mittel und Wege zur Erreichung einer giinstigen Wirkstoffabgabe in die gesunde und kranke Haut eine groBe Rolle und ermoglicht erst eine systematisch aufgebaute Hauttherapie. Die mit diesen Fragen zusammenhangenden Arbeiten und Ergebnisse haben uns veranlaBt, zur 3. Auflage von "Salben, Puder, Externa", die vor 5 Jahren erschien und nach wie vor als Grundlage dient, ein Er- ganzungsbandchen herauszugeben. Es soll einerseits als selbstandiges Werk einen Uberblick iiber die letzte Zeit geben, andererseits aber das Buch aus den Jahren 1950 wieder auf den neuesten Stand bringen. Es baut also auf diesem Fundament auf und erganzt die gewonnenen Er- kenntnisse dort, wo sich Anderungen ergeben haben. Die zahlreichen Spezialitaten der letzten Jahre sind, sofern sie von uns praktisch verwendet wurden oder Neues brachten, beriicksichtigt. Die Liste kann aber natiirlich nicht vollstandig sein, sondern nur Typen zeigen.
