Der Betrachtung der Zelle (Cytologie) folgt ein gestraffter Oberblick liber Prototypen sekundiirer Pflanzenstoffe, aus deren Reihen sich die wichtig- sten Arzneistoffe rekrutieren. Auch im Kapitel Genetik sind pharmazeuti- sche Aspekte betont, so z. B. die Bedeutung parameiotischer Vorgange fUr die Resistenzentwicklung bei Bakterien. In der Physiologie werden Grund- prinzipien des Lebensgeschehens dargelegt und so die Basis geschaffen flir das Verstandnis allgemein giiltiger biologischer Reaktionen und Zusam- menhange. Das ist notig zur Bewiiltigung der Studieninhalte des 2. Ausbil- dungsabschnittes, nicht nur im Fach Pharmazeutische Biologie sondem gleichermaBen im Rahmen der Pharmakologie und Biochemie. Die Mor- phologie gibt AufschluB liber Bau und Gestalt der Pflanze, ihre Gewebe- Typen (Histologie) und liber die Anatomie des Cormus und seiner Drogen.
