Prof. em. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jochen Schumann ist ehemaliger Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Volkswirtschaftstheorie der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Mikroökonomik, Außenwirtschaftstheorie, Input-Output-Analyse, Geschichte der Wirtschaftstheorie einschließlich Religionsökonomik. Er studierte Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt/Main und wurde dort promoviert und habilitiert. 1960 ging er als Fellow der Rockefeller Foundation an die University of Pennsylvania, die Stanford University und die Harvard University. Er wurde langjähriges Mitglied des Council der International Input-Output Association und war Vorsitzende des Ausschusses für Außenwirtschaftstheorie und -politik der Gesellschaft für Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften (Verein für Socialpolitik). 1986 wurde er Ehrendoktor der Wroclaw University of Economics. Nach seiner Emeritierung hatte er Gastprofessuren in Kobe/Japan, Dresden und Innsbruck. Außer dem Lehrbuch "Grundzüge der mikroökonomischen Theorie" (9. Auflage Springer 2012) publizierte er u.a. die Monographie "Input-Output-Analyse" (Springer 1968) und die Aufsatzsammlung "Auf der Suche nach Klarheit im Kosmos der Ökonomie" (LIT 2009).

Prof. Dr. Ulrich Meyer ist Professor Emeritus für Volkswirtschaftslehre, insbes. Mikroökonomie und Ordnungspolitik an der Universität Bamberg. Er studierte Mathematik und Volkswirtschaftslehre und promovierte und habilitierte an der Universität Münster. Vor der Übernahme des Lehrstuhles in Bamberg hatte er Lehrstuhlvertretungen an den Universitäten Osnabrück und Bamberg und eine Professor für Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Mainz inne.

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Ströbele ist Professor für Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster mit den Forschungsschwerpunkten Wirtschaftstheorie, Energie- und Ressourcenökonomik und Klimapolitik.. Er studierte in Hannover, Göttingen undStockholm Mathematik und Volkswirtschaftslehre, promovierte und habilitierte an der Universität Hannover in Volkswirtschaftslehre. Direkt anschließend war er bis 1995 Professor in Oldenburg, bevor er den Lehrstuhl in Münster übernahm. Er hat - zum Teil als Koautor - 15 Bücher publiziert und rund 85 Zeitschriftenaufsätze, Forschungsberichte und Diskussionspapiere verfasst. Prof. Ströbele ist Experte für Energie-, Umwelt- und Ressourcenökonomik und Mitglied im Wissenschaftlichen Arbeitskreis für Regulierungsfragen bei der Bundesnetzagentur.
