Bevor weiter uber Detailprobleme der JahresabschluBgestpltung nachgedacht wird und neue Generationen von Studenten womoglich unsinnigerweise mit den zahlreichen Vor- schriften zum JahresabschluB belastet werden, sollten die Zweifel auf ihre Berechtigung uberpruft werden. Bedarf es eines Jahresabschlusses oder lost der Markt die anstehenden Probleme besser? Die im folgenden priisentierten Ansiitze zur Beantwortung dieser Frage wurden wiihrend eines Forschungssemesters in Ruhe zu Papier gebracht.
