Infolge der nach dem Kriege eingetretenen Verk appung der Rohstoffbasis einer Reihe von Desinfektionsmitteln und der interzonalen Handelsbeschränkungen sind manche älteren und bewährten Desinfektionsmittel oft nicht oder nur in unzureichender Menge erhältlich. Andererseits entsprechen viele der neu auf dem Markt erschienenen Präparate mangels einer ma gebenden Prüfungsstelle nicht den an sie zu stellenden Anforderungen oder sind ganz unwirksam. Es empfiehlt sich deshalb, bei den bisher erprobten Desinfektionsmitteln zu bleiben. Zu dem Zweck wäre es allerdings sehr zu begrü en, wenn die einschlägigen, altbewährten Fabriken eine erhöhte Zuteilung der nötigen Rohstoffe, insbesondere von Kresolen, erhalten könnten. Denn auch unter den heutigen Verhältnissen, wo oft nur die wenigen chemischen Stoffe wie Phenol, Kresol, Chloramin und Formaldehyd zur Verfügung stehen, lassen sich auch die meisten Desinfektionen zuverlässig aus- führen.
