About The Book

Die vorliegende Arbeit* entstand in den Jahren 1970-1972 wahrend meiner Tatigkeit an der Universitats-Klinik fUr Thorax- und Herz- GefaBchirurgie in Gottingen. Grundlage fUr die Untersuchung der Koronardurchblutung einschlieBlich des myocardialen Sauerstoff- verbrauchs war die von BRETSCHNEIDER und Mitarb. entwickelte Fremdgasmethode zur Organdurchblutungsmessung. Die untersuchungen wurden in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Institut fUr klinische Anaesthesie, dem Physiologischen Institut, Lehrstuhl I und dem Insulinlabor der Medizinischen Universitatsklinik in Got- tingen durchgefUhrt.
