Die Biologie ist neben der Chemie das grundlegende Fach des pharmazeutischen Curriculums: Die Biologie legt den Grund zum Verstandnis der Pharmakologie, und sie verbindet dariiber hinaus die Pharmazie mit anderen medizinischen Fachem wie der Mikrobiolo gie, der Hygiene, der Immunologie und der Genetik (Humangenetik)."
