Dipl.-Ing. Volker Arnold, geb. 1971, studierte Maschinenbau an der Universität Karlsruhe und war im Anschluss als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Forschungszentrum Informatik (FZI) tätig. Seit 2005 verantwortet er bei der Dr. Fritz Faulhaber GmbH & Co. KG die Einführung und Weiterentwicklung der PLM Konzepte und Systeme.
Dr. Hendrik Dettmering, geb. 1976, studierte Maschinenwesen an der TU München. 2002 wurde er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Informationswesen im Maschinenwesen der TU München. Seit 2007 ist er geschäftsführender Gesellschafter der Prozesswerk GmbH. Zudem ist er seit 2009 Lehrbeauftragter des Fachgebiets für Anwendungen der Virtuellen Produktentwicklung der TU München.

Dr.-Ing. Torsten Engel, geb. 1975, studierte Informatik an der Universität Karlsruhe. Er war Abteilungsleiter am Forschungszentrum Informatik (FZI) und ist heute bei der EnBW Trading GmbH als Enterprise Architect tätig. Sein Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt liegt hierbei auf der business-getriebenen Integration von Informationssystemen.

Univ.-Prof. Dipl.-Inform. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Karcher, geb. 1959, studierte Informatik an der Universität Karlsruhe. 1992 trat er in den Lehrstuhl für Informationstechnik im Maschinenwesen der TU München ein. Nach seiner Promotion 1996 baute er dort den Forschungsbereich "PDM und Product Lifecycle Informationssysteme" auf. Im November 2003 wurde er auf die Professur für Softwarewerkzeuge und Methoden für integrierte Anwendungen an der Universität der Bundeswehr München berufen.
