Bahaa Awwad is a Full Professor of Financial Management in the Faculty of Business and Economy, in the Department of Computerized Financial and Banking Sciences, at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie and a former member of the University Council. He holds a Ph.D. in Financial Management from Amman Arab University, Jordan, and brings over 15 years of academic experience. His research primarily focuses on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, financial analysis, governance, financial markets, risk management, corporate financial performance, and financial technology. He is a seasoned expert in institutional governance and has published research in top-tier journals, including but not limited to: Banks and Bank Systems, Journal of Decision Systems, Competitiveness Review, Investment Management and Financial Innovations, International Journal of Law and Management, Discover Sustainability, and Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting.
He serves as a reviewer for numerous international books and journals and sits on the editorial advisory boards of several regional and international scientific journals, including but not limited to the Journal of Business and Socio-economic Development (JBGSED) and the International Journal of Business Ethics and Governance (IJBEG).
He is also an editor of several peer-reviewed books, including Sustainability in Light of Governance and Artificial Intelligence Applications, The AI Revolution: Driving Business Innovation and Research (Volumes 1 & 2), and Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Business, Education, and Healthcare.
Prof. Awwad has played an active role in organizing local and international conferences, including the First Conference of Research Students at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie and the International Conference on Business and Technology (ICBT), including the Bahrain edition held at Ahlia University (AhliaCBF), as well as the Jordan edition.
Among his distinguished awards is the Outstanding Reviewer Award for International Scientific Research in 2022, presented as part of the Emerald Literati Awards. He is currently working at Ahlia University in Bahrain, Faculty of Business and Finance.
Assist. prof. Dr Razan Awadallah Awwad is an academic researcher and lecturer specialized in business administration and marketing, with research interests in strategic management, consumer behavior, social-media marketing, and digital communication .Her scholarly work includes empirical studies addressing topics in her field . Throughout her career, she has conducted research at several universities in both Palestine and Cyprus, contributing to academic development across diverse educational environments. Her research contributions have been featured in international conferences, academic books, and high-ranked peer-reviewed journals.She is currently a faculty member at Al-Quds University in Palestine, where she continues to advance her research and support the growth of business and economic studies.
