So kam eine intensivere Be- schiiftigung mit den Wundheilungsproblemen uberhaupt zustande. 1m AnschluB an mein Referat auf dem Deutschen ChirurgenkongreB 1958 entstandener Mei- nungsaustausch mit einigen Kollegen, die nunmehr gleiche Beobachtungen eben- falls machten, war dann der Grund fUr mich, die meinem Referat zugrunde- liegenden ausgiebigen Studien zusammenzufassen und mitsamt der verstreuten Literatur Interessenten zuganglich zu machen.
