About the author...
ROBERT E. NOTARI is Professor and Chairman in the Division of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, where he has been affiliated since 1964. He has lectured extensively in the United States and Europe, and was a Visiting Professor in Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics at the University of Aston, Birmingham, England in 1974- 1975. Dr. Notari serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and has published numerous papers in the fields of chemical kinetics and pharmacokinetics. A Fellow of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, he has received the Miriam R. Balshone Award for Distinguished Teaching, and coauthored the 1983 Outstanding Research Paper awarded by the Pharmaceutical Research Discussion Group. He received the B.S. (1957) and M.S. (1959) degrees from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, and the Ph.D. (1964) degree from the University of Florida.
