Innocent Chiluwa is a Professor in Applied Linguistics and Media and Communication Studies. He is a Visiting Professor at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. His research interests include discourse analysis, hate speech, online activism, media and conflict, social media and society, language and intercultural communication, and disinformation studies. He is the editor of Discourse, Media & Conflict (Cambridge, 2022), and Discourse & Conflict (Palgrave, 2021).
Anna Szczepaniak-Kozak is Associate Professor at the Institute of Applied Linguistics, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland. Her research focuses on discourse analysis, hate speech, linguistic radicalization, and multilingualism in education. She has authored and co-edited thirteen books and over sixty papers, and has participated in multiple international research projects.
