Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharyya has done extensive research in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. Some of his noteworthy contributions are IndoWordnet, Cognitive NLP, Low Resource MT, NLP of Rare Language Phenomena, and Knowledge Graph-Deep Learning Synergy in Information Extraction and Question Answering.. Prof. Bhattacharyya has been a visiting researcher at MIT and a visiting faculty at Stanford. Dr. Aditya Joshi is a lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia, since July 2023. He obtained his PhD from IIT Bombay and Monash University in 2018, and was a postdoc at CSIRO and a data scientist at SEEK. His professional experience spans startups, research and industry in Australia and India—collectively enabling a unique perspective into NLP.
