About The Author

Anil K. Maini is a Senior Scientist and a former Director of Laser Science and Technology Centre, an R&D establishment under Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), India. He has authored 16 books and published about 150 technical articles and papers in national and international magazines and conferences and has eight patents (Granted: 5, Pending: 3) to his credit. Varsha Agrawal is Scientist at the Laser Science and Technology Centre. She has been with DRDO for the last 20 years and has been working on the design and development of a variety of electronics sub-systems for various defence-related applications. She has authored three books and co-authored 3 books, which include, Satellite Technology: Principles and Applications, Satellite Communications and Electronic Devices and Circuits. Nakul Maini completed his Masters from University of Bristol, U.K. in Optical Communication and Signal Processing with merit. He has Co-authored three books, and has to his credit one design idea, two research papers and thirteen technical articles.
