About The Author

Andrea Kleeberg-Niepage is Professor of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Flensburg, Germany. Her research interests are people's ideas of self and identity, and the focus on children's and young people's reference to social discourses.

Yaw Ofosu-Kusi is Associate Professor of Social Studies at the University of Education, Ghana. His research interests are urban childhood and the informal economy, with specific attention given to child migration, street life and labour, and children's agency.

Sandra Rademacher is Professor of Educational Science at the University of Flensburg, Germany. Her research interests are socialisation, cross-cultural research on childhood and youth, teacher professionality, and methods and methodology of qualitative research.

Michael Tressat is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Flensburg, Germany. His research interests are socialisation, biography, adolescence and migration, digital transformation in education, and the methods and methodology of qualitative reconstructive research.
