SOHO IN OTTAKRING hat f�r diese Sanierungsoffensive unterst�tzenden Charakter, da dadurch die Attraktivit�t des Viertels und damit die Marktpreise von sanierten Wohnungen, Geb�uden oder neu errichteten Immobilien gestiegen sind. Die AkteurInnen dieser Dynamik sind einerseits Gebietsbetreuung und Bezirksvertretung, die sich bem�hen, durch Investitionen eine "soziale Durchmischung der Wohnbev�lke- 122 rung" zu erreichen. Zum anderen die Wirtschaftskammer, die die Attraktivit�t 123 des Quartiers als lukrativen Investitionsstandort international pr�sentiert . Die Auswirkungen der Sanierungen auf die Bev�lkerungsstruktur k�nnen aus der Art der Sanierung - frei finanziert oder mit �ffentlichen F�rdermitteln - gefolgert werden: Die �berlagerung von Finanzierungsart und bev�lkerungsstrukturellen Ver�nderungen gibt Hinweise darauf, dass durch die (Mietpreis)regulationen, die an �ffentliche F�rderungen gekoppelt sind, der bev�lkerungsstrukturelle Wandel weniger stark ist als bei frei finanzierten Sanierungen. Jedoch sind auch hier die quantitativen Daten zu verfeinern und um die Art und die Rahmenbedingungen der einzelnen Sanierungsprojekte zu erg�nzen, um zu detaillierten Aussagen zu gelangen. Geeignet hief�r w�re die Durchf�hrung von Fallstudien. Der erste Forschungsschwerpunkt der vorliegenden Untersuchung fokussiert auf die Auswirkung von Kunst- und Kulturprojekten auf die umgebende Stadtstr- tur. Am Beispiel von SOHO IN OTTAKRING wurden in unterschiedlichen Dimensionen die m�glichen Einfl�sse auf das umgebende Brunnenviertel - leuchtet.
