Dr. Surabhi Srivastava is a prolific tourism expert and Senior Researcher (ICSSR Fellow) at the University of Kota, Rajasthan, India, specializing in community development prospects and the potential for heritage, nature, and tribal tourism, areas in which she has received multiple awards. With 22 years of experience teaching tourism management in various Indian institutions, her academic background includes an MBA and a Ph.D. from the University of Lucknow, followed by UGC-sponsored Post-doctoral research on heritage tourism development from University of Kota. A significant contributor to her field, Dr. Srivastava has authored eight books on Heritage Tourism development, four of which are edited volumes that feature international researchers and case studies, and she has presented numerous research articles at national and international conferences.

Isabel Vaz de Freitas, Full Professor at Portucalense University, PhD in History, research at REMIT (Research on Economics, Management and Information Technologies), Correspondent of the Portuguese Academy of History, Head of the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture, Director of the Conservation and Restauration Center at Portucalense University. One of the main areas of research is heritage safeguard and tourism, the water heritage and sustainability, and cultural landscapes. In this area, integrated financed projects, as coordinator and as a researcher and supervised numerous internship reports and master's dissertations, and has served as a jury member for both master's and doctoral theses. In this study area published several articles and book chapters.

Eduarda Rabaçal holds a PhD in Literary, Cultural, and Interartistic Studies and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism, Heritage, and Culture at Universidade Portucalense, Porto. She is also affiliated with the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Porto. Her academic background centres on cultural studies, memory, and narrative traditions, and she has recently developed an interest in living heritage from a cultural studies perspective, particularly in relation to memory, identity, and cultural transmission in contemporary contexts.
