Die Publikation hat sich schnell zum Standardtitel über die politischen Landschaft Sachsen-Anhalts entwickelt. Die hier nun vorliegende zweite Auflage schildert nicht nur die politische Entwicklung seit den Landtags- und Kommunalwahlen im Jahre 1994, sondern erweitert durch Aufnahme von zwei Kapiteln zu den Bereichen "Interessengruppen" und "Regionale Medienland- schaft" auch das Themenspektrum.
