What is going on today in the post-Covid world? Those who paid and are still paying the highest price are, above all, the minors, as well as the weakest members of society. In Covid-19 and the New Generation: Effects on Todds and Teens in India and Worldwide, the author outlines, with depth and subtlety, a merciless and truthful portrait of all the often-unspoken realities, highlighting the fractures created by Covid in the complex international social fabric. From seasonal workers to slum dwellers, from victims of domestic violence to minors subjected to abuse and exploitation, from the members of the LGBTQIA+ community to those who struggle in the streets daily, this book is an account of the plight of such people affected by the pandemic and its aftermath.
