Her twin brother's teasing nickname-"salmon snatchers"-didn't exactly help her self-esteem! But with time, she learned to embrace them, love them, and celebrate what makes her unique.

When she isn't busy being a mom or a wife, Alison loves to run, swim, cook, volunteer and explore new art classes whenever she can.
