Hampton, Margie: - "Margie Hampton was a pioneer in adoption advocacy and social work. In the 1980s, she founded one of the first adoption programs in Fairfax County, Virginia, focusing on placing children of color in loving, culturally aligned homes. Her compassion, leadership, and belief in every child's worth laid the foundation for the Enough Adoption Foundation, which Mia Dickerson established in 2025.
