Writing books to help children process emotions has been a lifelong dream for Tannis. She has lived with and has been able to manage severe learning disability, Dyslexia.

Thiessen, Leanne: - Leanne Thiessen is a Métis Canadian Illustrator living on a homestead in the Manitoba prairies. A mother of four children, her illustrations are often created with Littles running around or drawing right beside her. She draws much of her inspiration from country living, and from a childhood filled with camping, canoeing, and respecting the outdoors.
